Caribbean Cartels

A tale of power, greed, betrayal and lust surround Caribbean drug gangs who ship cocaine and marijuana from Columbia and Jamaica, the United States being the final destination and the Cayman Islands playing an important part in the trans-shipment process. Two of the three drug leaders are vicious and have no qualms about using extreme violence to solidify their dominance on the streets of the US and Jamaica.

The Columbians, lead by the witty and crafty Senor Gacha and his second in command aptly named “The Blade”, control Miami as their base of operations as they distribut to the rest of the states. In Jamaica, operations are run by the infamous Shower Posse, led by David Spence aka Iceman, a violent and illusive drug lord, and his right hand man Lester Bogart. In Grand Cayman the true leader of the cartel was not out in the open with his operations. In fact, Rudolf Parsons was a very wealthy and highly respected business man who was a member of many reputable civic organizations on the island. A family man, Parsons was the conniving puppeteer behind his nephew, Harvey Ebanks and his gang, who were considered major figures in the local underworld. Acting as the trans-shipment point, Harvey and his gang were responsible for receiving the shipments from Jamaica, secreting them before forwarding them onto Miami.

A very ambitious gang, but so was Superintendent Dawkins the head of the special drugs task force. Dawkins was a hard nose, no nonsense cop of English origin, who was determined to put Harvey and his gang out of business. As his investigation moves forward, he uncovers that his targets were not small time criminals but well connected big time drug traffickers. Now working on a case with international ties he enlists the resources of his counterparts in both Miami and Jamaica, shedding light on the true magnitude of the power these cartels hold. All are shocked at the scale of drug trafficking, money laundering and violence their investigations unearth.

A dramatic drug bust, leads to the arrest and extradition of Iceman to Grand Cayman where he is found guilty and although he will not stick around to serve his time, he can not hide forever.
